Make sure you use the warm tater batting because if you are not careful with the other cotton bats they can destroy your microwave. $10 to $15 sounds good to me also.

i LOVE how yours looks. my pattern said to fold in half with ends overlapping but yours looks more like a bag! May have to modify my pattern if you don't mind! Also love the idea of attaching a scubby to them! Thanks for posting pics - gave me some ideas of what other material to use other than the potato fabric. I got some gorgeous red green and tan striped that i made a couple with.

Thanks for all your input! I may try to sell some of these after all! with hubby just starting back to work after being laid off for a long time money would sure come in handy for my fabric addiction!!!!

Here's a number that I have heard regarding selling items like a potato bag or other crafts. 3 times the cost. We know that some crafts (and I don't know if this is one) take time but we love doing them. Of course there are exceptions. But see what this factors out to. I think I have seen some at $10 and some at $12 here in SW Michigan

I make them to sell at a boutique my girl friend has, I charge $8.00 for them.

did you ask what she paid for her other one?

saw them at a very small quilt show this weekend at $9.00. They also had potato design fabric on the outside
