I maybe have around 50 yards on hand. Most of that is for backings. I have two quilt kits sitting here. Not including the kits, I'd say I could probably squeeze at least four quilts out of my scraps and other fabrics. To me that is plenty. I would never want to have as much on hand as you do because fabric does get a dated look to it sometimes and I like working with fresh colors and patterns.

i have quite a bit of fabric .but not that much wow.

Can I be a sister? I have lots of fabric, but nothing like you mentioned. Guess my saving grace is that we never get a income tax refund. My slogan is that"Will Work for Fabric". and I do.

So you have reached the state of SABLE - Stash Aquisition Beyond Life Expectancy. Congratulations!!

I wouldn't even hazard a guess on how much I have. It's everywhere. It's everywhere!!!!

Sounds like you may be the "Queen" of fabric stuff!!! Can I be your new best friend :-D

In answer to the last question on your post........Fabric does'nt talk back. It waits--softly calling your name. And it fits in all kinds of quilts. How can any of that be wrong??????

All I can say is...WOW!!

I guess I'm the exception to the rule. Or maybe I'm not A real quilter yet. The most I have ever had was fabric for two quilts and fabric for 5 aprons and everything needed for 7 sock monkeys. Maybe a little for machine embroidery??????

On my income, could not possibly afford to have 80 kits sitting in a drawer.LOL - Kits are generally $150 for single beds for starters - so you do the math. However, I do have a lot of 20cm cuts as I buy them as I can afford them and when I have 'enough' i make a quilt.Still manage to have a big stash as well.
