Terrific idea! Go get it! It needs your home and TLC. :-)

Recently someone posted a picture of a small table they made with just the side legs of a treadle to hold their Featherweight while they are using it. It was adorable!!! I thought it was very clever, and I would do it if I could find the legs!!!

A friend of my step-father's made a table for me using the two side legs I found in my late MIL's basement. I absolutely love it! It's the perfect height for a side table, and I used it next to my sofa (the arms of the sofa are pretty high) when I lived in an apartment. He even put a shelf under the top. It's currently in my bedroom and has my DVD player and cable box sitting on it.

The antique stores around here have all re-purposed them into anything from an ordinary side table to a lathe. If you like it, buy it!

I have had one displayed in my garden for several years! I grow a clematis plant through it!! Gets lots of compliments!!

i have a table on my front porch made from sewing machine legs

I think it would make for a very nice addition in your home.

My friend's husband made her a small island for her kitchen out of one and a cutting board table out of the other. They look lovely in her home.

I think it's a great idea!!

It would make a cool table. I wouldn't hesitate.
