My husband just bought me a coffee mug that says
"She who dies with the most fabric wins"......so
I am trying to win!

Stop it, stop it Stop it. You all made me feel so much better about my stash that I just went out and bought 8 x 1/2 metre lots of the most gorgeous black and whites. On special at my LQS and as I have a 26 year old Grandson who is hinting for a quilt I just couldn't pass it up. I will add a bit of colour from my stash and hopefully make something he will love. Honestly I really was just going to buy thread. And would you believe .......I came home without the thread!

No shame to feel! Just think, now when the prices go up you can still quilt!

You aren't the only one with a lot of fabric. I could open my own store!!! :)

Last night I went to the garage to dig out some more halloween stuff, and I ran across a HUGE plastic tote with fabric inside of it! I m not sure how I could of forgot it was there! In side of the tote was also a small plastic zip bag that had a JAF purchace in it I forgot about! I bought it before I moved, it had thread, 2 pkgs of wavy blades (I got on sale for $3 ea, a pattern, $20, and a card to myself saying "heres a few bucks to buy some fabric in your new LQS"). So I got to go shopping in my own place, and now can go get some more! I say this is my retirement fund! We all have our own way of planning for the future, & I want to make sure I dont run out of fabric!

As long as it's not going to put you in the poor house, too much fabric just can't be a bad thing.
