If I didn't buy fabric, I wouldn't have to work LOL
|
No. You have to keep visiting the quit shops. They might come up with just the thing you cant be without.
|
Yea I came to that same conclusion a while ago so when I go to the fabric store I always have to look and will sometimes buy a fat quarter but I really hold myself back from buying more fabric. It is hard though.

I tell my husband that I think of my stash of fabric as my retirement account. The fabric I paid $2 for when my kids were little is now worth $7 a yard! I wish our investments would increase in value as quickly as the prices go up!

I will not use mine up if I live to be 150 but every time I go in a store that has fabric I just have to have a yard or two.

As of October 1, I am on a stash diet.
Instead of going to the fabric shop, I haul out my fabric and enjoy it again. I'm starting to figure out some new projects, so hopefully the time I spent shopping becomes time I spend sewing now. And I have several UFO's and I've given myself a deadline of year-end. |
How lucky you are. I just stopped to buy 2 fat quarters because I needed a lift me up today.
|
I agree with you there, there is nothing like a couple of ne fat quarters to give you a bit of a lift.
