How about one on D9Ps and D4Ps? You could show all the different patterns you can come up with.

I have a Abbey Lane pin cushion and scrap bag pattern I want to do and would love a workshop to do it in whereI would get help if I needed it. ( I love it but it frightens me to tackle it so it just sits.)

* perhaps one workshop can be a UFO session. Maybe even swap meet of pieces parts and see what results occur by the end of 1 1/2 hours.
* pin cushions - everyone needs one or make as gift/stocking stuffers, etc.
* investigate "Home of the Brave" quilt project IN YOUR STATE... we cut appropriate fabrics and make kits to take home and complete..

I don't even know what it looks like but posted on FB that I was getting rid of a cabinet full of mugs and a quilt shop on my FB said they had this pattern. I think it would make a fun workshop.

our quilt guild has a program every month usually done by the members and maybe a different pattern or different technique and one we had was what is your favorite tool and how do you use it lots of good learning things out there

Once I belonged to an online postcard exchange group. We made postcards using scraps of fabric and other embellishments. It was easy and creative and took very little time from start to finish.

Every year or two my guild has a night where there are 5-6 'teachers' to demonstrate a "How To." The guild members are divided into the same number of groups (5-6) and rotate between stations. The small groups get an up-front view for 15 minutes on different techniques, then rotate to the next station for another short tute. It's a lot of fun for everyone!
The Guild has a close relationship with our local quilt shops and their owners help us out a lot as teachers.

Once the pieces of a block are sewn and pressed, how to nest seams together to get perfect points.

Every so often in Guild we have a Community Quilts Sewing Night. A dozen people bring their machines, irons, cutting boards, whatever is needed. Fabric squares are usually pre-cut for the event. We all work together to lay out the blocks and sew them together, layer them with batting and backing, pin-baste, and tie them. Alternately, they could be made like a pillowcase, birthed, and tied. It's always enjoyable, we get to meet and work with different people, make new friends, and we get a lot of kid quilts done quickly!
