I agree with all the others...a simple red binding will frame it nicely. Great job by the way.

it is very pretty...whatever you decide will be lovely, but I agree, keep it simple.

This wall hanging measures about 35 x 39. The pattern (from Quilter's World, Winter, 2017) just calls for a red binding. I think that may be fine, but wondered if any of you thought I should add a border first. I think I have enough green for a border, and then I'd add the red binding. It's for our church bazaar, so my taste isn't important.

Another vote for just the binding. You don't want to draw attention away from all your beautiful piecing.

Love the simplicity of the pattern. Very striking, The red binding will give it the finished touch.

Red binding without the addition of another color is the perfect finish for your lovely quilt.

Audition different borders and photograph them.
Idea ... red flange, then a wide green border, then red binding. |
Saw a similar wall hanging a couple years ago at a quilt retreat. They used green for the tree blocks and then red binding. To really make it fancy, then added tiny silver snowflake buttons on the tree. It was gorgeous! Just a thought as to how same pattern can be different. :)
