If your thread still twist on you, run the needle and thread through a USED dryer sheet. It will help remove the static that causes it to twist. There is too much oiles on a new one, that is why you need to use a used one.

I love my Thread Heaven too. It works so well to keep the tangles out 'cause I like long strands too.
