Yes, this week I'm finishing Mr. Chillingsworth. Even on my Janomen New Home DC2014 I can do it. Then next weekend, I'm either going to finish my Meditative Victorian, or cut my round Cityscapes. After Decadent Victorian, there are NO UFOs! (I probably just added 3 more weeks of work on this, but I want a queen sized quilt. I actually bought the solid material for a boarder on Friday.

I've seen Youtube videos doing both. I think I want to do it edge to edge, and roll the quilt into the throat area.

That is so good you finished it. It looks good!

Keep up the good work! It sure feels good to finish a project.

When I quilt on my home machine, I like to stabilize the border before I quilt the center.

Yay! I bet it feels to good to have your old UFO finished. I love the other quilt you are working on too.

I have not had to use this on a quilt, but you can buy a rust remover at your grocery or hadware store that you can use on fabric carefully. It may help remove those rust stains on your quilt. Congrats on your finish.

The UFO challenge has pushed me to finish things, too. It gives me a boost to sew and a new excitement when I finish. Keep going, girl.

Congratulations! Beautiful quilt!

Congrats on getting the quilt quilted. With free motion quilting you always start in the center and work your way out. Fabric does travel. I even start in the center to stitch in the ditch. I'm much happier with the finished product.

Good for you to keep working on things until they are finished! Unless we do that, some of the quilts keep niggling at us---"finish me".
