Great job. It feels so good to finish a languishing UFO!

Try Grandma's Secret Stain Remover, available at your LQS or even Walmart. It works like a champ!! I also had a 20 year UFO pinned and marked with chalk that embedded itself into the white background -- Grandma's took it out and I was really a happy camper.

:thumbup:Looks good to me. You should see some of my UFO'S they date back to 2000. It is getting harder the older I get to start back on them. :D don't see any stains...

I do the same. I'm usually in a hurry to finish & just do a large meander. Works great & I can have a lap size quilted in a few hours. If I ever do 'fancier' quilting I would start in the center.

Nice finish--you will enjoy Leah Day's class. She has excellent videos for help on each block.

I will buy that. Thanks!

I have a pile of tops that need finishing...how did you motivate yourself to finish a UFO? I love to piece the tops, then I get bored and never finish 99% of my projects. I literally have at least 10 quilts (all sizes) that need finishing. Help motivate me!!!

Love the 3-D effect of the black and white. It looks like your can "climb those stairs".

Congrats on your finished UFO! Sounds like you are on your way to completing more & happy with where you are going. Leah Day is an awesome quilter & teacher. You will learn a lot from her.
