Congrats on the good find. You can make some wonderful quilts at a very reasonable price with getting such a good deal.
As far as your fabric stash, like what has been written - put your wishes in writing and then they will know what to do with your treasures. |

Enjoy your find. After trying hard to find someplace for my own mother's odds and ends of things.. The new home you have or choose will be appreciated from where they came...wonderful fabric, quilt tops, projects.. where ever these land.
Enjoy, share and find peace of mind. You are helping more than just "yourself!" Good for you ! Ell |
Honey, at 49 you are still a spring chicken. I'm almost 65 and I'm still quilting and hope to keep quilting until I can't sew any more.

Congratulations on a great find. Don't feel guilty, think of it as lost treasure that you have just found, feel good and make lots of quilts.

I am sure it will go to good use. IF, you wants your dd & dil to have your fabric when the time comes, let them know now and I would even leave notes in among the fabric, stating what you want done.

I've given my daughters & DH instructions, there is a list on the bulletin board in my sewing room of who gets the sewing machines, then the 3 daughters (none sew), daughter in law can take what ever sewing items & fabric they want. The only fighting there will be is they'll each be trying to make the other take the stuff-LOL. DIL does do some sewing so she might want something & maybe granddaughters. So after they have taken what they want then they are to call my guild friends to come over & take everything else. I explained this to a guild friend in case DH & daughters forget (don't think they listen to me) & told her the day after the funeral to come over with home baked cookies for DH & he'll let them in to take everything left. She exclaimed "You mean we have to wait til AFTER the funeral"-LOL
