Looks like you'll have a lot to put on Etsy! Good for you!
I've seen and experienced several people who retired and couldn't find anything to do to interest themselves. We'll never have that problem.
yes indeed -- you are in good company!! -- Mim

You know you're preachin' to the choir, don't you?
I am binding four quilts and making 16 Christmas placemats ... at the same time ... I just go from one thing to the next! Just hope I get them all finished before Christmas!
I have only two going at the same time, what does that make me :?:  :?: :-(
Too many WIPs to count!
We have octopus brains, so we are genetically pre-programmed to need to satisfy all the mental tentaacles by keeping them busy busy busy... eh?
Formerly worked on a monthly magazine: at any time, we had one in the planning stage, one with articles being proof't, one going to the printer, and one being sold. Small staff; limited distribution for members of nonprofit group; we did it all. |
You sound like a very normal quilter. :)
Me too: Lots of irons in the fire but I did set the Wedding Ring AWAY for now::: Can't even think about it anymore: Need to finish Halloween project and lots of Christmas quilts: You have lots of Crazies for Company: LOL
It sounds normal to me...
I agree with Lady Crafter, you might be crazy, but you have a lot of company. Once, when having lunch with my new bosses, one asked if I enjoyed golf. I told him I could never figure out why anyone would hit a ball and then chase it over the golf course. Turned out he was an avid golfer. So, I just told him that golf was not that much different than qulters taking big pieces of fabric, cutting them into smaller pieces and then putting them back together for a quilt. See - we're not crazy, just quilters.
Hmmm... This sounds perfectly normal to me! Oh no, does that mean I am crazy too?!?
Ahhhh, variety is the spice of life. I do it too.

The lady who got me into quilting, once told me, you know you're a quilter when you have more than one project going at thee same time. lol Barb

     Keep Going! |
Sounds very typical - I always have several projects going at one time - and that includes knitting projects, as well as quilts.
Dear I hate to inform you it is not curable. You can say that you do not get bored. Have much more fun than most who do not sew. While I am finishing up one quilt I usually have several more running around in my head. What can we say? We have been so blessed- thats my story and I'm sticking to it.!!
