I can understand your dilemia - the fabric & pattern are both just beautiful

I have that same problem, but I say "Go for it".

i do that, too. I have totes full of stuff I don't want to cut. One day I decided that I can't enjoy it if it's in totes and gathering dust. I'm trying to use it a little at a time, but what I make with it has to be for me and nobody else.

I have the same problem AND as a matter of fact, have on this date purchased a book entitled Just Can't Cut It! by Pamela Mostek. Now, I actually cannot tell you that this book will help you, but I am sure hoping it helps me because I have about 8-10 fabrics that I look at and fondle and do not cut and I want to break that habit. So, keep me posted on how you do and I will keep you posted on whether or not the book helps. LOL, your sob sister!

I am like the other ladies about cutting my beautiful material . I am learing to get aound on the new board. I miss seeing all the pretty quilt tops but will eventually be able to get to all the posts. Thanks again to Patrice for all their hard work clara

Mmm..Mmm..Mmm..Mmm..Mmm Or in the words of Rachel Ray, "Yummo"! Beautiful fabrics! If insecurity is holding you back, how about a dry run using some scrap fabrics and make a place mat or a table runner to work out the bugs. Then you'll know what to expect. You'll be fine.

I have the dark paisley and haven't cut into it yet for the same reason - I just love it! So I definitely understand where you are!
|
Your fabric is beautiful and the pattern will showcase it nicely. I have that same issue - I have some fabrics that I just can't seem to cut into! LOL! I guess when the time for them is right I will know!

Your beautiful fabrics will make a beautiful quilt.

go for it....
