I recently had a whole package of needles that wouldn't pick up the bobbin thread, Changed to a different package and wa la worked just fine. It was almost as if the needles were too short.

I am so sorry you are having trouble with your new machine. I hope the shop can find out what is wrong. This is just so wrong having trouble getting a new machine to work. I would watch real close when they check it out just in case it is something that happens again, you might be able to fix it yourself. Good Luck!

uh-oh, machine-acide! hang on, sweetie, I'm sure, someone will have a good idea. I'm just not very mechanical, but I love to be supportive.
Hope something you find here works for you. :D

Find out what it wants. :?

Was your new machine running well in the store? If it was, chances are you are just overlooking some small little detail.

Oh yes. More than once I have hauled my machine to the repairman and have found that it was something as simple as the needle on backwards or the machine threaded wrong. And the more frustrated you get, but more difficult it will be to see your mistake.
