Your colors are very pretty and all that you need is some contrast and it will be great. :-D

It reminds me of a cottage shabby chic, which by the way I like. I could picture it draped casually on the back of a white whicker chair on a porch. Cute.

I was thinking of making a 4 block by 4 block baby girl quilt. Thanks!

At first glance, there should be some blue in the top pieces, all your blue and dark is at the bottom, the eye follows the light to dark and there is no blue in the upper section to tie the two halves together. Just my suggestion.

The busyness is okay, but you need more contrast. See how the darker blue & pink stand out? you need two like that opposite each other & it will be fine.

Or... maybe lay them out a little different, so you have light, then dark & repeat that way.
Personally, I think all these look great together! Be sure & post another pic later when you get it altogether!...

Yes - I just used that trick, and I can see the lack of contrast in some areas. Thanks!

I've laid out another possibility of the floral fabrics, both with the beigy coloured background, and also with a white background.

I've also laid out a totally different type of fabrics, in several different arrangements. I may be totally off the wall with these ones.....it certainly gives a different effect, but might be more suitable for a baby quilt.

Or.....I may need to go out and buy some fabric! Please give me feedback. Thanks!

THIS is very constructive - one do not have to worry what is meant or which colors are too dark or too light. It pinpoints directly to the trouble area with exact details of how to rectify the problem. I like this critique a lot! :)

I love it and the way they all come together. Keep going!

I like to stagger the lites and darks so they compliment each other. The lights are getting lost in each other.
