Sometimes we don't realize how much people really do value our quilts and appreciate the thought that goes into them. When my Dad died just over a year ago, because I am out of state, I wasn't able to get there until the day before the funeral. I was surprised to find that the quilt I had made from his old bowling shirts for his 86th birthday about 5 months earlier was on display next to the casket. It was at the hospice when he died and my SIL made the decision to display it without saying anything to me. And I always thought SIL didn't like me.

Very sweet! A friend of a friend passed away and they decorated the church all in her quilts. What a tribute.
