I don't get the off grain thing either. How do you ladies look at fabric and instinctively know it is off grain? I should stick to baking - that I don't screw up! Keep baking but don't give up on quilting!! PS I prefer to make the blocks too big & cut down instead of blocking. Hope this helps. |
I honestly don't mind any of it. I get a little nervous when I am cutting, because I don't always get it right, but, other than that, it is enjoyable for me. I'm no expert, though, and sometimes I have issues, but, after things are washed and dried, most of the time, they disappear.
