the binding on my quilts. You'd think I wouldn't mind 'cause it means the quilt is finished. I have been procrastinating for 2 days (I've done a lot of little things I felt needed doing so have accomplished something), but I decided I have to get it done today. Of course it has to be done in small steps. Strips are cut, sewn & pressed but I had to reward myself for getting that far by coming on this board to whine about the binding & check out all your messages
What part of quilting do you not like doing? OK I've been on here long enough! Back to that blankety-blank binding. |
Paying the bill at the LQS. Eveything else I love.

Binding. I have about six quilted quilts waiting for me to do the binding...
Squaring up the quilt - just now comfortable trimming any of it, needless to say mine are only perfect when the LA does them, otherwise...wonky!!
I love binding or any kind of hand work.
I enjoy the handwork involved in binding. I hate "sandwiching" & pinning. I'm too old to crawl around on the floor!!
I hate sandwiching. A lot.
BINDING!.. all the fun and creative stuff is done by the time I get to the binding. No more creative anticipation... just that last step binding.... I know what its going to look like , what the quilting will look like .... Binding is just boring.
I used to hate the sandwitching part just as much as binding... then came spray basting! |

I love everything about quilting but the binding. When I start to bind a quilt, everybody (including the cats) leave the house LOL!!!!!
