I have a New Home which I bought in 1989! Still works great! It is made of metal, instead of plastic, so it is heavy, but a work horse! Keep it clean and it will last and last!

If I remember correctly, Janome bought out New Home. you might check at a Janome dealer.

they look unique, but the price to fix would be more than it would be worth. besides only 2 threads for a serger isn't too good. I already own a singer 4 thread, a juki baby lock, 3 thread, and an industrial Juki, plus all my regular sewing machines. wouldn't know where to put it.

I've never seen one of these machines either. Out of curiosity, I looked it up on Google. I was a little surprised to see that it is made by Janome. I have a Janome, but of course, it doesn't have a serger. This is a unique machine..I wonder if they even still make the combination machine?

Boy! I'd love to know more.

Well I know exactly what this is because I used to own one. It was called a Janome combo. It worked well but it was only a two thread serger. It did swivel and was a regular sewing machine on the front, and a two thread serger on the back. Because of this the throat is quite narrow. I traded it in for my Janome 10000.
