oh my goodness- some people really think they've 'got something' and like to (take advantage)
might be someone related to one of my sister in law's= she has antiques in her garage that have been sitting there for 15+ years- while they go hungry===because she thinks they are worth way more than anyone would ever pay for them-
i guess to her they are worth that much-
and that person can keep their machine= because it seems to be worth an aweful lot to them :)

You could get 2 or 3 of them for $800!!!

Well, if you decide to buy it, I have some ocean front property in Az that you might consider too!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

carolaug 09-16-2011 04:24 PM

no...I see them all the time for under 100.00

That is too expensive for for it is. I waited for one and found one for FREE! I would pay up $300 for one in excellent condition with lots of attachments, original case and manual.

No it is only about $600 over my budget.

Not Even if I won the Lottery. Did this guy plate it with 24K gold and diamonds? He is asking wayyyyyy too much for it. I bought one two years ago on ebay for under $200. and it works great. I have just finished piecing a queen sized quilt top on it, and start the quilting on it today. Keep looking. I picked one up last month at a moving sale for $100.00 with oodles of attachments. Seems to sew fine, but DH needs to check light out, it flickers on and off. I haven't had time to really check it out, but it does sew.

No I got mine on ebay for 156.00 and is just fine that is way to high priced

Absolutley not. If I had that kind of money I would put it toward a machine with a larger harp area. A good Featherweight can be found for much less, just take the time and wait until the right one comes around.
