We all have that occasionally. But it usually passes. I'm glad you are back.

Bevanger, we all go through it I guess. I noticed on your avatar, that you're listed as Port Angeles, Wa. My daughter just came back this week from Port Angeles. She was there for a week's vacation visiting her first cousin. She is back home in Tex. now. She emailed us some pics. I know she has a lot more, so when we get over to see her in a week or so I will hear more about the place and view more pics. My husband's nephew bought a house there a coupe of years ago. Gerbie

I definitely have to be in the mood to sew.

Thanks sweetie. Although I'm not back into sewing 100%, I still come on here to see everyones pretties AND get inspired.

how are you doing

I've been there. I even sold off most of my fabric because I didn't think I would quilt again. But I got back into it and now I have fun shopping for fabrics! I think interest in hobbies can wax and wane, but if you truly like doing it, you will get back to it again. Sometimes life interferes for a while.

Well, I"m taking a sewing break too. Not much enthusiam left after doing the things that HAVE to get done. Taking a break will be healthy for me. See ya all in the fall.

I have 3 passions. Sewing since I was 7, woodworking since I was 10, and gardening, since the sandbox. I havn't done much with the wood for several years. I did clean out my wood room a few months ago. It took a week. It is the season for the garden so that has monopolized a lot of time. If I am not sewing in the down time, I am on the computer checking ideas for that next project. ----- Lately I'v been on the computer and neglecting the sewing projects that have piled up. --- If I am not in the mood, I stay away from any and all projects, Sometimes it takes a while for the mood to come back.

Welcome back. Wondered what happened to you. Yep, every once in a while.

I think we all go through times like that! If I don't feel like sewing, often, I will browse through my quilting books and magazines, or start designing in my graph paper notebook. This will often help me get back to it! Of course, I have far more hobbies than just quilting, so sometimes I just trade off and concentrate on other things, or just read, my old standby! Don't feel guilty--enjoy what you do, whatever it is! WLee
