I think that it's called a bone folder. Alot of scrapbookers use them. I like my "purple thing". It has a curve at the pointed end which works good. Have you tried Clotilda catalogue? It has a ton of gagits for sewing.

Is this it? It's called a Point Turner and Presser. I just bought this (package unopened) at an estate sale last week for $1.

Deb great find. That's what I was thinking of. My chemo brain came up with it being called a bone folder.

You know I don't think that Bone Folder is so far fetched. My husband cleans & dyes carpet. He has an old whale bone (don't know if it's really whale, but that's what it's called) and it's shaped the same way. I'm not quite sure what it's used for, but it is bone.

I have the plastic one and use it all the time and it works great.
