We donated so much to help our small community.... the hospital, hospice, nursing homes, and Salvation Army to name just a few. We have fun, we learn, and enjoy each other's company. Welcome from the Illinois countryside. The quilting board is my breakfast companion every morning with a cup of tea. My friends here never disappoint with their fabulous creations, helpful tips, new patterns and color choices, resources to further my knowledge, answers to questions, support & humor. As a group there is a wealth of knowledge on all different topics but a feeling of comraderie as we explore new ideas, solve problems and learn together. Welcome from Seward, Alaska! Our Guild, Kenai Peninsula Quilting Guild. The boundaries of the borough encompass a total of 25,600 square miles, of which 15,700 square miles are land. In comparison, the total land mass of the borough equals that of Massachusetts and New Jersey combined. However, the total borough population is less than 1/400th of that same area. We do have at least 5 quilt shops in the Borough to keep us quilting. We are a diverse group of quilters who live on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska, which is about 100 + miles from Anchorage. To get together, many of us need to drive at least a couple of hours, or fly in. But what better place on earth in which to do so! The Quilting Board is my morning place, where I learn from a wonderful group of quilters. I hope you join us!
