Introducing you to my guild...

Hello dear quilting friends... well, in my guild this year I've been put in charge of "Inspiration"... One of the first things I knew I wanted to do was to introduce my guild to You! ...to the Quilting Board! You have helped me numerous times, often in short order when I really needed answers quickly!! And last year, when I gave a program to my study group on quilting, I told you about it and you responded with lovely "hellos!" from all over the world!! They were so impressed!!

So... tonight I'm introducing them to You! I would love to read your welcoming remarks...or at least a few... I can hardly wait to tell them about everything you have to offer... And quite frankly, as I was making a list of everything there is here, I realized I need to do more reading on the Quilting Board!! There are categories I've never researched!!

So that's it... can you help me? I love each and every one of you!! Thank you and Happy Quilting!!!

Welcome, from KY. There is a wealth of information here and someone can almost always give you an answer to your question, or help w/your dilemma. Sometimes just using the search option gives you all you need and more. And the pictures section will have your list of "to do's" doubled or tripled in no time. Happy quilting!

Welcome from Wichita Falls,Texas. This is the best place. All you have to do is post a question and you have instant answers. When I started quilting 7 years ago, I found myself changing a rotary blade (for the first time) in the middle of the night. My question was "Do you wipe the oil off of the blade before putting the it in the cutter?" I had several answers immediately.

Welcome & a BIG HOWDY from the Great State of Texas. Before I became a member of this board I belonged to a different board & didn't think there could be a better one than the one I was in. Boy was I wrong. When my board shut down I came here & found this to be the most friendly, most helpful, sweetest quilters ever. There is always someone ready & willing to help answer questions. It's like family here.

Welcome from the Space Coast of Florida! I am the newest quilter in my group of sewers, but I know so many more tips from reading this blog every other day after breakfast! I make myself read the main section first (educational) then treat myself with the pictures section. The tips, help on how to's, and opinions are invaluable! I have been hooked from the first time I read it. I have definitely used recipes from the blog, too! I Love it!!!
