I was planning on finishing up some prayer flags I had started for my sister, BUT at 4 am Sat. my husband woke me up to take him to the hospital. Kidney stones. Everything passed OK. BUT, I started having chest pains while there and long story short, I stayed and he went home. got my 14th and 15th stent, and I came home this morning. Usually I have a project ready to go with me, but had no warning this time. So a wasted 3 days. The only good thing is I have to take it easy for about 2 weeks. So guess that means only sitting at the sewing machine.

My Sunday plans got canceled, so I was able to play along. First picture is the fabric, it had 2 B&W stripes and 2 of the cream. Decided to use the cream & make stack & whack 4 patch poseys. Think I'm going to sash with beige, black cornerstones. The black & white stripe will be a wide border. Need to trim the blocks, then arrange. I failed to notice that many of my cuts were very close pattern wise, so many similar blocks. Should have moved the ruler over a bit, but all in all I'm happy with this beginning.
