Peckish-
Never mind. Wrote my question before I read through the rest of the messages. Thanks for the info- I really love it! And, I like yours better than theirs! |
I love all the precuts (charms, jellyrolls, layer cakes). You get to use the whole line of that designer without buying tons of fabric you may or may not like. I feel the pricing is very close if not better than yardage. Right now I'm making table runners from charm packs using a Tumbler template and they all look great (IMHO)! If you go to the Missouri Star Quilt company, they use a lot of precuts for their quilts and have a lot of tutorials on youtube.

I love Jelly Rolls, charm packs, layer cakes... all those good things. I'm actually in the process now of starting up my own little e-store to sell moda pre-cuts such as these.

I shop ebay all the time

I love them, but then I used to sell them. They make quick work of a lot of quilts. Plus they give you a good variety of fabrics.

I have made a quilt using Bali Pops - which is very similar to Jelly rolls. It was great not having to do that initial cut down from a huge piece of fabric to strips.
They are a great convenience for when you just want to get down to the nitty gritty! |
love them makes fast projects

There are lots of books and patterns to use jelly rolls and charms. It's nice to have your fabric all cut and coordinated, too.
