I was watching Oprah's new show about 'Joy Rising' and as I was reading postings here and looking at the photo this morning as I do most mornings, I was thinking about how being a part of this community brings joy into my world! As I read the posts and look at the pictures, I laugh, ohhh and ahhhhh, and enjoy lots of other good feelings. I just want to say a deep heartfelt thanks for all that you do for each other and for sharing your beautiful work with me! I know I don't post for every ohhhhhhhhh and ahhhhhhhhhhh I have, but rest assured that there are many!

I enjoy it here too and I have only been on here for a few weeks.

same here... there are sooooo many beautiful, wonderfully made, amazing quilts, wallhangings, etc. produced by gifted quilters... there's no way to "wow" all of them... but I'm constantly saying "wow"... DH knows when I'm on the QB when he starts hearing me comment... (we're usually in different rooms... me in sewing, him near tv)

When ever I need a bit of inspiration or a good shove , I come here !
Confession: sometimes I need to see what a tidy sewing room looks like to get me modivated to do something about my "condition".

What a nice post! It mirrors my thoughts exactly. One of the best parts of the day is sitting at my computer first thing in the morning looking & reading on this board with a good cup of coffee.

Totally agree with you.. sooooo many beautiful quilts... just not enough time to praise all of them. SO... Your quilts are outstanding.... There are many of you that I would gladly let you adopt me and send me your beauties! Thanks for sharing you wonderful talents. Oh, and the help you all give....such a help, you will never know how much I have learned from you.

I didn't watch Oprah; but I sure do get the same joy out of this site as I was saying on yesterday's blog. Probably do much less quilting (and knitting) now that I've increased my reading from just the 'picture' section to now including this 'main' section. LOL BUT well worth it for the joy and the info found among good posts.
