I enjoy the binding...means FINISHED.

I hate binding!!! I told my friend that I would pay her a penny for doing a foot of binding and she will not take me up on it. This had gotten to be our joke and no one else seems to figure it out (non quilters)

I'm with you!

I love binding the quilt. It means it's close to being done. And then I want to prolong it so I sew slowly.

I love binding. It is one of my favorite parts. I like to machine piece, hand quilt and bind. I Hate to machine quilt. I think that is why I am so bad at it.. I dont know that practice will every make it any better.

Every part of a quilt has it's challenges. I find keeping the puckers out of any quilting is my main worry. The binding is easy after that.

But I sort of like the binding. It's a sign that a project is done! Well, maybe not LIKE doing it, but happy to do it. |
I too love rolling the binding to the back and hand sewing it.
