Kinusaiga

Has anyone tried doing Kinusaiga yet? Great for small fabric pieces. I got a kit from @poppyandpaintbrush on Instagram. I can’t figure out how to post a pic of the one I finished.

can someone explain how to post a pic on this site. When i press the icon, it gives me an option for URL or Link. Nothing happens when I press either. I can't find a HELP page on the site either.

Depends on what you are posting from as to how you attach. But, rather than using the link button click on Go advanced under your post. From there you can download your pictures

The Help Center is at https://www.quiltingboard.com/vbulle...lp-center-f27/
There are two stickies on that page for posting pictures. One for phone https://www.quiltingboard.com/qb-hel...d-t308920.html and the other is for computer https://www.quiltingboard.com/qb-hel...a-t309399.html.

Here is my answer to how to post images.

We like pictures. In order to post pictures on Quilting Board, you will probably need to reduce or compress the picture to a file size that is smaller than 2MB. For some unknown reason, when one goes to post an image, it says the limit is 5MB, however the limit is actually 2MB. A lot of people have trouble posting pictures here.

How to post images can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...020-01-17-.pdf and on an ipad at https://www.quiltingboard.com/qb-hel...d-t321918.html and https://www.quiltingboard.com/showpo...59&postcount=4 and Don't forget to scroll over to the far right to find and click on the "Upload" button. As shown at https://www.quiltingboard.com/8565676-post4.html

I have found that only the big red "Reply" button or "Quote" work to give me the paper clip icon to work for adding pictures.

Some additional info regarding reducing images at post #4 and images for the scroll and upload button can be found at #5 of https://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f...d-t312607.html

Another way to post pictures can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/showpo...postcount=1143
And how to use an ipad to post pictures can be found at https://www.quiltingboard.com/qb-hel...s-t318147.html and https://www.quiltingboard.com/qb-hel...d-t321918.html

Or simply - Make sure pictures are smaller than 2MB
Click on red "Reply" button
Click on the paper clip icon
Click browse - choose picture/s. (only 5 allowed per post)
Once they show up as being loaded, Scroll over to the right side and click on "Upload"
After the pictures show up as being attached, you can close that window and go back to the screen to finish posting your post. This sometimes takes a while and is indicated in this image by the red arrow. https://www.quiltingboard.com/attach...8-uploaded.jpg

Some additional notes -
The photos generally need to be reduced to less than 2MB in size. I have heard of people sending an email to themselves as it will ask if you want to reduce the size.

I have an android phone and when I tried to reply on Quilting Board while in mobile view None of the options for adding pictures was available. However, there is an option down at the bottom left of the page that is for Full Site when I tapped on "Full Site" It then looked like the way it looks on my lap top. So it would have the Red Reply and the Go Advanced options.
Do Not Preview post.

I once made a Christmas ornament that looks alot like this. It was fun but tiny. A quilt block would be great.

anyway Kinusaiga is a really fun craft. It makes beautiful pics out of fabric. I am sure you can find many tutorials out there. Have fun with it.

I watched a video demonstrating this method. I am intrigued. This would be a great project for the ladies in my group that do not sew!
Here is a pic from google.
