I'm going to assume that you just quilt and don't usually sew other stuff.

I use leftover muslin as background fabric for a scrap quilt. The various whites always work together.

If you like tote bags or zippered bags, use it as a liner for these.

If you have several different tones of muslin they can be put together to make a very subtle crazy quilt block or any other pattern. The block can be made into a pillow, book cover, potholder, etc.

Ditto, I use muslin so much I buy it by weight as a ridiculously low price at a fabric warehouse near me. My most recent project was protectors for my new chair, it doesn't slip like other fabrics :thumbup:

Boy, I sure wish we had a fabric warehouse in Colorado. About 40 years ago we did in downtown Denver, Co. I got the best buys on fabric. Gread idea for chair protecters.

I use it to back 6" square art quilts using the envelope (aka birthing, aka pillowcase) method that are then mounted on an 8" square artist's canvas for framing or hanging as is. The muslin is never seen again. :D

I use muslin as background for several kinds of blocks. Good for making embroidered blocks, potholders, and small projects. Works well with 30s type quilts. I am old fashioned as you might tell. ;)

I use my muslin small leftovers, by cutting up and putting in my 1.5 square pile for my someday postage stamp.
