Ok something else new to me, Birthing Method???
Thanks :) :?:

AKA Pillowcase method. You lay the batting, backing & top down, sew almost all the way around, leaving about an 18" space. Then turn it. Often these quilts are then tied.

I use it to test clothing pattern pieces. Doesn't matter if it'e pieced together. Saved a lot of mistakes that way.

Could make a square and combine it with left over batting to practice free motion quilting patterns.

Dye it, paint it, etc. Then use it in a quilt.

Use with batting scraps to practice FMQ.

Use to practice new quilting/applique/etc techniques.

Use as a background fabric in group quilt blocks (presuming it's a good muslin).

I'd dye it!
