I love the feel of this fabric. Bought some a few years back. Used it in a piece for my son who had just returned from abroad. He loved it.

I just went to the Liberty of London website. The fabric is really pretty and it sells for 19 pounds 95 plus shipping.

I priced them in London and was appalled at the prices. Lovely fabrics, pretty prints but WOW the price sure is a stopper for me.

Try International Fabrics in PA when they have a sale.
Right now it's $32/yd, $8/FQ

Liberty of London feels like silk and sews like butter.

It is very, very nice. I have a small stash and I am saving it to make a very special quilt. It works up nicely and lasts.

I just love it. And, you get what you pay for.

I know it is expensive, but you can find a sale now and then..

As a Brit living in Canada this is why I love it here! I love Liberty fabrics and as I only lived about twenty minutes by train from the Liberty store it was something I could only drool over and I could not really enjoy my quilting and sewing until I came to live in Ontario. A friend visited the UK last October and I told her to go and see the store (it is beautiful and very old so worth seeing just from an architectural point of view) and said she would not buy anything as she woud; be scared to cut it up at those prices! lol
