Fabric.com just advertised that they have this line now. Very pretty prints, but why are they so expensive? (don't look unless you have access to oxygen...)

 it's only 54" light weight and soft, good for blouses
but NOT for me! i'd lke to know how much they sell and to whom! |
Love Liberty of London - haven't checked their prices - some of it is not quilting weight -- Target had a line of clothes a year or so ago. LOVE YOUR AVATAR - you should design a pattern off of it!

its said its premium cotton hmm what are we buying in our lqs?

Been to Liberty's in London ... ooohhhed and ahhhed over so many of their fabrics. Then I almost fell back down the center atrium to the bottom floor after reading the prices.
Someone asked why so pricey ... while I'm sure the quality is there, mostly it's the name your paying for. Liberty's & Harrods are "prestige" shops. You pay far more for everything just because you walk out the door with the sale in a Liberty or Harrods bag. Cool places to visit though. |

I'll wait till it goes on sale!

It does feel incredible.

Raising my hand here! I have a lot of it leftover from when I made clothes for my girls when they were small. When I could dress them how I like not how they liked. LOL. Now Liberty of London makes less expensive cotton fabric just for quilting. Westminster Fibers Liberty of London Quilting Fabric. Hancock's of Paducah sells it and many other online shops. I can find it on sale at lots of different online quilt shops.
