Respectfully saying, it doesn't matter to me how many people don't see the mistake - I do. I agree with whoever said just hold the funny blocks over and use them in the back, make extra good blocks and be done. Personally, if it where further in the process I might not correct, according to if it was quilted, etc, but this is such an easy fix and so few blocks to fix. The Amish say nothing is perfect except God, so put in a mistake, I say I want to put my best work out there, maybe not perfect, but I do my best.

I would think it would make a difference when you put your blocks together as to the outcome of your design (ex, barn raising or what ever design you r going to make. I would rip it out and start over... One way to keep track is to lay the block face down with the last strip you sewed on to the top. This is just MO, it is your quilt so you can choose to leave it.

I would unsew! I made the same mistake. Made more blocks and recycled the mistakes into a doll quilt. It won't take that long to rip and you will be much happier with the finished project.

I had log cabins in my Bountiful Blessings Quilt and several times I had to do over, but you have to suit yourself and DH. I couldn't accept my mistakes but that is me, everyone is different and if you decide they will work, it will be fine. Best of luck to you.

Ok....I have heard from so many of you just how horrible it would be to not rip out the error in my blocks, but here are 2 finished blocks....1 correct and one incorrect......now please tell me how are these horrible? Where are the glaring mistakes? Yes, if you study, you can determine which is correct....but if you have to work that hard at finding the mistakes, is it worth changing?

just follow the pieces around the yellow chimney----------1st is right adn 2nd is wrong. But all the pieces are red so the mistake won't show up as well. If you have half light and half dark, any mistake will show up |
