Thanks for the info...I will know from now on how to place the back and tell her which side is the top...

Doesn't matter one way or the other! Nice quilt!

I think both the quilt and quilting are pretty non-directional. Looks great!!
Next time you know to tell her which way you want the quilting to run if you have a preference. |
Very pretty and I agree the quilting design direction does not spoil the quilt. When my customers come to put their quilts on to my LA I always remind them to think if the quilt has a 'top' or direction they want to use.
Yours is a lovely quilt! |
It's beautiful. She did a great job on your lovely quilt. I also love the price.
|
If there is a top I ask my clients to put in a pin so this does not happen. If there is not a top edge marked I would have loaded as she did.
|
$27 and SHE supplies the batting? How in the world does she make any money on this???? You got the deal of the century.
|
I like it the way it is, if it bohters you, next time talk to her before you leave a quilt. Its not a design that I think really matters what way its stitched.....

If she did it for 27.00, she gave you her time and did a good job. Most LA would have charged closer to 100.00. Just in the future, if you have a preference, state it and I am sure she would do it the long way. |
