Those look really useful, thanks for sharing.

FYI, I read somewhere that canned air is bad for sewing machines as it blows the lint into places you cannot reach to clean.

[QUOTE=Prissnboot;5415284]would you be able to clean out a mascara brush and use that? It would have a nice sized handle to make it easier to hold onto...[/QUO
Yep. That's what I use. Works great! |
I find pipe cleaners work well for cleaning the lint from my machine. :)

Those are nice! I use a child's paint brush. Let us know how well they work. Another thing I've been looking for is a screwdriver with a very short handle or handle that has a 90* angle. The screw driver that came with my machine is too tall to take out the screw in the feed dog plate. I need to look online I suppose!

I used to use a penny but struggled with the grip. Then I found a set of stubby little screwdrivers at *drumroll please* Harbor Freight! They stand at 1.5" tall and have a wide handle that is easy to grasp. There are 2, one Phillips head, one standard head, and I think I paid all of $.99 for them.

I thought I was a weird one for wanting to wander around Harbor Freight looking at stuff. Lots of plastic storage boxes. Little small clamps that are good for closing bags of chips. Those little small brushes would be good for cleaning out the holes in our hummingbird feeders. We have lots and lots of hummingbirds.
