Looking for a quilt pattern

Hi everyone, newbie here and am hoping someone can help me. Back in the 90s (maybe) I was working on a jeans quilt. It has about a 12 inch stair steps block on point for the center. There are 4 ,9 in triangles on the sides that make the block into a square.I'm sure this is mud clear. I thought the pattern came from a Great American Quilt book, but have looked through the ones I have( to 96)and have not found it. If anyone knows where I can find the pattern I would appreciate it.

Do you have a photo of it? If so, please post. That may help!

Might it be Courthouse Steps pattern?

Hi and welcome. I understand the block on point with the 4 setting triangles, but have no clue what the center block is. As gingerd mentioned, it would be great if you could post a picture. There's a file size limitation so:

Could it be the one where you start w/ a large hst and cut it in strips and sew the strips so it forms a jagged stair step, I don't know the name of the block but it is an older block I believe.

Well I finally found it w/ the search term jagged this is what I was talking about http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=...co0&ajaxhist=0

Is it delectable mountain? Sounds a little like it.

That's a Delectable Mountains? I have a pattern book around here somewhere.

I can take a picture but not sure how to get it on here. Can you tell me?

Not sure about the name. It was a pattern to use leftover or worn out jeans
