Hahaha! I love licorice all-sorts, especially the pink and black ones.

I just happened upon the fabric at a local fabric store - matched the periwinkle blue of the walls of my sewing room.

That is so adorable! You obviously put a lot of time into that. I have been thinking of making a cover for my machines, but suddenly realized that the cover would be off most of the time, due to using the machine. I usually have a couple machines at a time going. I can embroider while I am either working on another part of the same project or else a different project on the machine sitting beside it.

You might need to measure your machine and improvise the pattern to fit yours.

When I had trouble with my cat wanting to sleep in the open area of my sewing machine, I needed a fast fix. I took a pillow case, sewed up the open end,cut out a long side, added elastic to that and slipped it over my machine. No more cat naps !!

I saw a pattern somewhere that had the extension for the embroidery unit....can you google patterns and maybe come up with something...

I just took a 45" square piece of fabric done a rolled hem around it and have appliqued cute stuff on it. I just drape it over the machine with embroidery unit on or off. Sorry on the road so don't have a pic.

That is adorable. You should sell them on Etsy!!! Folks would love it. Very artistic.

I'm not sure if you found it or not but just in case.
Here is one specifically for an embroidery machine. It is the one I am planning to make for my 4500d.

I have a slew of tutorial links for machine covers on my website so if this one doesn't grab your eye, maybe one of the others will?
