Thanks for all the advice, ladies! I love how willing everyone helps out!

So here's what I decided to do. I liked Paperprincess's idea of unpicking the odd number chevron and adding solid peach square in the center of the border. It got my brain wheels turning.

I unpicked 3 chevron units instead, the odd one at the end and the two center ones. Then I sewed in two larger chevron units that equal the size of the three original into the center. I think it looks much better now, and my corners still meet nicely. I'm happy with it now and can definitely live with it:)

I'd just take off one strip from this end and add it to the other end. Unfortunately, that would entail removing the entire strip first so you could make the correction.
