My son-in-law's father started hand quilting on a frame since he retired. He doesn't do any piecing or sewing, just the quilting. He is working to finish up a pile of quilt tops his father pieced (his dad is in his 90s and in a nursing home). He finds it very relaxing.

The trouble is that he doesn't believe men quilt. He is so old school that he can't belive that a man can work with fabric and be straight. Need some help in convincing him that men make great quilters. HELP

This is a bunch of guys who quilt...beautifully!!! |
My hubby has been helping me make quilts for several years now. I have found he is great at snipping rag quilts. Take him to a quilt show and let him practice on the machines - that's how I convinced mine I needed a Bernina.

I never knew what he did with his finished pieces...but everybody in town knew about it and kindly agreed it was a good idea. J |
