Who cares what people think? They will think it anyway if they choose. Follow your heart and what makes you happy. Assuming it's legal and moral lol Nina

Lots of men quilt. I judge at fairs and love nothing better than to see the quilts the men have made. All of them are well done and beautiful. Go men!!!

There are several men in my quilt guild. Most of my LQS are run by a husband/wife team. My husband sews and made his own fishing vest and often helps me with colors. He is great in his workshop and good with detail too. I think your husband would love it once he got started.

get him to look at Ricky Tims site . That mans talant is AMASZING. Both my father and my husband could knit and sew .when it came to darning socks my dad was as good as any woman.O K that tells you I am old. I am a recycled teenager really .I still slide down banisters if I get a chance !!!!!by the way my father was born in 1899 . he worked in a mill but love embroidery and was as manly as they came . One last thing your husband may be intrested in, dad was in the first wourld war

Check Alex Anderson and Ricky Timm. He makes beautiful quilts and is always thinking up new quick and easy methods to use. Also there are some men on this board who write in. I also knew a man in Arkansas who had 4 sisters who were avid quilters. He would take the scraps and pieces they didn't use and make beautiful quilts. GO FOR IT!

I have a friend who is an older gentleman and he hand quilts, he sells each quilt for about 350.00, he just enjoys doing it, my husband likes to sew, we each have our own machine, nothing girlie about it.
