I was going to say the green, but looks like i've been out voted. It is sweet with either one.

Conartist1945 08-23-2013 02:47 AM

I like the orange best

piepatch 08-23-2013 03:06 AM

I like the green because it blends and "flows" better. When I look at the one with the orange, all I see is the orange because it overtakes the quilt. If you use the orange, I would make it very narrow.

QuiltnNan 08-23-2013 03:26 AM

i like the light green as the orange seems to draw my eye away from the middle

rebeljane 08-23-2013 03:38 AM

I like the orange!

psquared52 08-23-2013 03:42 AM

Narrow orange border!

WMUTeach 08-23-2013 04:00 AM

I like the green best. It draws the eye from the primary fabric with the large circles to the animal print of your outer border with ease.

mic-pa 08-23-2013 04:02 AM

Definitely the orange only a little narrower

Reba'squilts 08-23-2013 04:04 AM

I like the orange. It really does make things pop!

Jeannette51 08-23-2013 04:07 AM

My first instinct says go with the orange, just makes the entire quilt pop.

Retired Fire Chief 08-23-2013 04:09 AM

I vote for the orange, very cute!

Rubesgirl 08-23-2013 04:53 AM

Definitely the orange. It brings all the other colors in the quilt out and makes them brighter.

Seaside gal 08-23-2013 05:19 AM

Orange, but then I like bright colors.

Amythyst02 08-23-2013 05:40 AM

Orange for sure, it pops

lisalovesquilting 08-23-2013 05:46 AM

I don't really love either one. How about an orange that matches the animals better.

katesnanna 08-23-2013 05:55 AM

I pick the light green. It helps the eye flow out to the edge.

Grace MooreLinker 08-23-2013 06:01 AM

The orange

Snooze2978 08-23-2013 06:02 AM

I prefer the orange as it adds pop to the quilt and also brings out the oranges in the quilt itself. But then I like bright colors to so I guess I'm biase.

SandyQuilter 08-23-2013 06:03 AM

I like the green. The yellow is too strong at the current width. It pulls the eye away from the quilt's interior. If you want to use the yellow, which is stronger than what's in the quilt, drop the width to about an inch finished width.

I like the orange.

dianeinsterling 08-23-2013 06:19 AM

i like the orange!!

wendiq 08-23-2013 06:25 AM

I'm with the green as it's a bit more soothing and on a bed, more conducive to sleep. However, for a wall hanging, I'd use the orange. Both look fine....for me, it depends on the ultimate function of the quilt....

Treasureit 08-23-2013 06:31 AM

I agree with Omacookie...I like the green...I guess I like everything in harmony. I can see the Circles better with this one.

Here is what I do when in doubt (besides ask on here) I take a picture of each, print it out on regular paper and then look at them and go with the one that seems good.

mighty 08-23-2013 06:31 AM

Love the orange!

The orange makes all of the fabrics seem brighter.

homecaregiver 08-23-2013 06:50 AM

I like the green as it gives the eye a chance to rest before going into the outer border and I think it evens everything out. The orange seems to loud somehow. Great quilt.

I like the orange. That's going to be a very cute quilt!

linhawk 08-23-2013 07:16 AM

I like the orange too. Nice frame to the quilt

fangman 08-23-2013 07:46 AM

I know this is not what you asked, but I would like to see the print as the second border and the orange as the outside, and then I think the orange would be the frame. But that is just me.

MargeD 08-23-2013 08:00 AM

The green border gives the quilt a softer look, but I like the orange as it gives the quilt a "pop", and something different.

Quilterfay 08-23-2013 08:20 AM

I guess it all depends on the effect you are going for. Personally I like the light green as it gives it a restful palette. If the quilt is for some one who likes bright than the orange one.

mummadee 08-23-2013 08:34 AM

I like the green, it seems to fit better with the feel of the quilt. The orange is too jarring and calls too much attention to itself.

judykay 08-23-2013 10:15 AM

I like the green and would use the orange as the binding to add color, the green is softer.

Just my humble opinion.

Having said that... if you choose to use a middle border I'd go with the orange, but very narrow, like cut an inch border and then you'd have a 1/2 " border to pop!

I agree w/this and would also use it for the binding. I would use a more subdued orange. I think that one is too bright.

Halo 08-23-2013 10:39 AM

Now this answer is a strange one for me as I do not like green & love orange, but I think the orange is to bright for the rest of the quilt. I think the green would make the rest of the quilt blend better & maybe do the binding in the orange. It is an awesome quilt.

christyld60 08-23-2013 11:08 AM

]I think the green looks more consistent with the quilt. The orange stands out too much.[/QUOTE]

I agree with charsuewilson......the orange is way too bold for this quilt.

Hi, I can't decide which middle border to pick the light green or bright orange. The stripe is the first then either light green or orange then the animal print for outer border. So what do you like in the middle the light green or orange. Thanks bunches for all your input. Oh and I apologize now if my pics show up large....

The light green looks to me like there's a gap in the fabrics. If the green was the same color as the green leaves and mushrooms in the amimal print, I'd like it.

OTOH, the orange is a bit harsh. I'd probably have chosen the leaf green or the blue.

frenchfryqueen 08-23-2013 11:18 AM

I think definitely the orange. It brings the brights out more without overpowering.

newbee3 08-23-2013 11:35 AM

I like the orange
