Its awesome especially when you start to get into embellishing with foil, angelina, and crystals it comes in handy. Supposedly its good for PP and applique as well but I haven't used it for that yet

They look like they'd work good, never tried one though.

I have the original one and used it once. Did not like it, went back to my old iron.

I don't have this one but I bought a small iron with the 1 head from a hobby shop sometime ago that only cost me $20. I take it when I go to classes. It does not press as well as a regular iron but for class work it was fine and much easier to tote around than a regular iron.

I have the small hobby one - haven't used it near as much as I thought I would . But then again I haven't been appliqueing as much as I would like to hhhmmmmm LOL

this is the one I have http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXB365&P=ML

I have seen others in quilt club use this one and they love it - http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXL499&P=ML

I had one..hardly ever used it. I kept forgetting to set it right a burned a couple of things ...threw it out! I had the 60off also. Bought 10 yards of batting.

I don't hardly use mine. What I think is better is the travel iron from TravelSmith.com JoAnn's version of that which is bigger than the one you show and I think would be much more used. Just my opionion but I will probably buy one of these.

How much do you think you will use the attachments? If you are just looking for small iron to press open seams see if Joann's has the Steamfast travel iron. It heats up fast and steams well (if you are one of those that uses steam).

I bought the Clover mini-iron with just the one blade, the one on the iron in this photo. I love it for little places.
BEWARE the little clover shaped stand is round file material. It will not hold the iron and when it turns over and melts the plastic onto your iron, you'll be very unhappy! I lay mine on a small ceramic tile I keep with my sewing stuffl.

I had one and did not like it. I kept burning things, including my own fingers, multiple times! I tucked it away and purchased a Dritz Petite Press instead. I love that Dritz so much I bought two more - one for a friend and a spare for myself!
