8 at a time works well for me. I think it saves a lot of time and work.

If I'm making a bunch, I like Bonnie Hunters method with the easy angle ruler. I cut strips the appropriate size then put them right sides together. Cut triangles and the chain piece them. This method works well for me, but I also do it the other way with squares, too.

I prefer to use the Triangulation CD. You basically print out what size you want and sew and cut on the lines. By the way, I just use regular paper. Good luck!

Thanks, y'all! I have always used the first method as well, having been taught to never sew on a cut bias edge if you can help it. Then, I watched Bonnie Hunter's clip and wondered what everyone else did. Any way, thanks again!

Oh, I wouldn't say never sew on a bias cut......how about setting triangles, peaky&spikey block, and I'm sure there are a few more.....it depends on how many HSTs I need..or if I'm using scraps, yardage...sometimes squares, sometimes cut from strips with right angle template, like BH, or even thangles or triangles on a roll......and now I have a GO, so if I can I use the die.......
