Looks like 505 wins the prize, also a fan.

Does 505 really hold a queen size quilt together long enough to scrunched it all around under a regular sewing machine to quilt it?

Yes 505, no problems at all.

I use the spray in the pink and white can from Hancocks (buy with coupons, of course!). I don't remember the name and am out at the moment so I can't go look. I broke a needle sewing over dried glue once so I don't like it except for holding applique patches (I put the glue in the middle then sew the edges, of course).

I actually like the Mettler Web Bond TA101. I was introduced to this at a quilt class. It has less odor and seems to hold with less product as well.

Yes. For a large quilt, I usually put some safety pins around the edge every foot or so to ensure that the edges don't come apart with handling (although if they do, it's easy to smooth them back into place).

I find 505 quick and easy spray iron quilt. The elmers glue is put on go to bed and wait.

505. I love, love, love it.

My vote is for 505 also. Really like this stuff (except for inhaling that stuff). I work quickly & with a fan to keep the gases as minimal as possible.

I use Elmers. Don't need a lot just a fine line will do it.

I love 505 as it does not stink but it sticks :)
