Glad you all found it locally at the comic book stores and not shipping costs. We all learn so much on here. Thanks for starting it Sewbizgirl. I"ll have to watch for your topics. :):)

You are welcome! I have since found out that there IS a comic book store within driving distance from me, and I'm going this afternoon to pick up some more... About $7.50 for 100. Who knew so many people were into collecting comic books?? The packages are really heavy so the shipping is high.

It didn't take me long to go through my first 100 boards. I have some smaller pieces that are like fat quarters, too big for the scrap pile and too small to wind around the boards. I'm thinking about cutting some of the boards in half to make even smaller 'bolts' for the small pieces and fat quarters.

I'm finding it really easy to arrange these to choose for quilts.

I am buying more too as I go thru Ft. Worth tomorrow. They do go fast....or wait...maybe we have too much fabric and fq's??? ROFL. I love the way we can see our stash without pulling out drawers and having to search. You can check, someone in this post said there were different sizes - 3 maybe? Buy extra and save gas. LOL.

Like your fabric. Can you do mine next?

I got the biggest current magazines and the smallest vintage ?. I am happily winding fabric while watching TV. I spent about $18 for 200 boards. And the store is 10 mins away from here.

I was going to ask about that... and I have a comic book store within walking distance of my house!

Time to reorganize the fabric stash.... again :-D
