My DJ disaster - yeah, but....WARNING!!
Having already hand quilted and layered each separate triangle...when I sew them together I get a lovely lumpy seam!!!! Guess I was supposed to sew the tri's together first, layer the strip, quilt them then join the strip!! So now I'll try to trim back the batting between the layers by 1/4". BUT I'll just try one scrap one first!
LET THIS BE A LESSON TO ALL YOU DJ'ERS! Making the blocks is the easy part! |
And I can't even figure out what fabric I want to use!!
Oh dear ... that's the second calamity for you today.
Perhaps better stop for the day ... before something else happens? |
Oh dear, another reason not to start mine! And Nammie to 7 has listed yet another reason.
C,mon you guys! Dive in!
So sorry you are having difficulty. Thanks for the warning.
I want to maybe start one what makes a DJ so hard
Just start it,you'll see.But then ya gotta finish it......Or not!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh no........I'm so glad I'm still at making the blocks :)
I'm confused.Did you quilt each tri and then try to join them?I have never heard of that.Do you do that with other projects?Jane is hard enough, why add to the difficulty?
