Lovely quilt and I'm also jealous that you got to use a LA.

I would love to have a long arm, but they are way out of my price range. I have two newer machines that will quilt and just the other day I got out the manuals and read the instructions. I just finished MQ on a small wall quilt. My first try and I think it came out pretty good. Did notice my arms and shoulders are a little sore, must have used some new muscles. I wanted to try this because I read an article in a quilt mag about short arm systems and my two machines were both on the list of those you could use for short arm. More in my price range. Does anyone have a short arm frame/system. How do you like it?

The binding will be dark purple.

Beautiful! I love all of the solids.
