My mom has a Nolting long arm machine. She let me use it today for the first time. I hand quilt most of my quilts but I wanted this one for the kids to use in the rec room and I thought it would be a good one to practice on. This is a mystery quilt I made from scraps. The binding will be dark purple.

Beautiful quilt. I love the colors you chose. I also envy you. I would love to own a longarm but I can't afford one. Not even the cheapest one out there. I do all of my quilting on my sewing machine.

You made THAT from SCRAPS????? It's absolutely gorgeous! And from what I see, the quilting is really nicely done.

Okay, first of all this quilt is awesome. Can you share pattern name? Second...I do believe you are a natural on the longarm. I wished I could afford one :(
