My Hunter's Star Top is Finished
1 Attachment(s)
At least I think it is. I ran out of fabric (and patience with the HSTs!) but I might buy a little more and add another row to make it square. I decided to make a lap quilt instead of a bed quilt. It's a gift for my sister's birthday which is coming up fast.
Question: Should I add a border? If so, what type? I think you can click on the photo to see it larger. |
A border would frame it and you could make it square with the borders.
love a hunters star in two colours great job. borders would strengthen the edges if it will be a lap quilt. |

Love the two colors. I've never made this pattern before but it is on my "quilt bucket list". haha

Beautiful top. I would definitely stick to the two colors. The choice would be yours: white skinny inner and red thicker outer or vice versa.

I always put the darker boarder on the most outside edge

Very pretty Hunter Star quilt! One of my fav patterns.

i just love your red and white quilt. i wouldn't add borders at all.

I would choose a white border which would make the quilt body appear to float and the use red for the binding.
